Sunday Mr. M & I headed downtown to Butcher and Singer for a celebratory date night. (We both recently got new jobs). If you don't know, Butcher & Singer is probably one of the BEST steakhouses in the city and Mr. M is SERIOUS about his meat!!
I wanted to get cute so I put on a new dress... A sleeveless NY&CO number that I found at a discount clothing store at an AWESOME price..covered up with a long black cardigan..black knee high wedge boots..and of course no outfit is complete without perfectly matched accessories!!!
(dress photo from NY&CO website)
The restaurant itself is pretty amazing, with high ceilings and huge chandeliers.
Talk about ambiance.....
We settled into our booth and placed our order. Fried calamari and vegetables, Shrimp & Crab salad with fresh avocado and homemade dressing...and our MAIN COURSE....
Meaty perfection on a plate!
The perfect ribeye,-dry aged and cooked to a juicy medium rare with a side of Butcher's famous stuffed hashbrowns!
We of course finished with dessert.
Baked Alaska. Sweet, melty, meringue-y goodness and the perfect ending to a perfect evening.
That dress is cute! And I've never tried Baked Alaska. Looks yummy!
